My older Gen 2 Astro A50 headset was in great condition and just needed a new battery. I'm glad I replaced the old battery as it puffed up into a potentially dangerous situation. This new battery adds new life to an old headset that works great and lasts a long time on a charge. The downside is it needs to be soldered, but that's not the fault of the battery manufacturer but rather the design of the Astro A50 headset. I highly recommend this product.

Perfect for my headset
Took me 5 min to replace Battery and put together i have Astro A50 3rd Gen for Xbox.
Had some old gaming headphones that needed some love. So we upgraded the battery and now we get a few more hours of playtime.
Works perfectly in my very old Astro headset.
If you have a basic soldering iron you can do this super easily, and revitalize your expensive headset back to life! Also recommend new ear pads as well and tada brand new headset.
Perfect match for the Astro A50s
The new battery holds charge much better than the old one in my Astro a50s. A quick soldering is all it took to get up and running again.
This was a direct replacement to my Gen 2 A50's. So far it's holding a charge very well.
Battery works perfectly. My original battery wouldn't hold a charge for ling snd eventually wouldn't turn on at all. This one is just like when it was new. It has plenty of wire. The wires come already stripped at the end and all I needed was a pocket knife, a small screw driver, and soldering nail to replace my battery. 10 put of 10
It fit as intended with no adjustment necessary. Note: You will have to solder this onto the PCB as this battery is hardwired. With my old battery, I would get ~45 minutes of gaming in. With the new battery, I've never received a low battery notification and I've gamed for 3+ hours. I do charge every night though.
Works exactly as it specified, replacement battery for the Astro A50 headset, second time I have replaced the battery in almost 6 years, so we have gotten our moneys worth out of these headphones and batteries.Update: Replacement battery lasted little over 20 months, which isnt bad and I'm still going to replace the battery again but just know what to expect.
