Perfect battery well worth the money for a dash cam

This battery was for a replacement in my dash cam and it worked great. At least that was until my dash cam decided to take ??...lol regardless it was the same exact battery that came in the dash cam and it works great the battery is still just fine I took it back out of the dash cam and put it in my collection of batteries for should I come across another dash cam that needs something similar to this. Very well worth the price installation was easy it even came with instructions and it connected right to my dash cam.

so far -- so good.

Installed in Vantrue N2 Pro without issue.The #3 (yellow) wire is likely for Li-Po "sense" wire. All LiPo charging stations typically have a sense input for balance board.The battery arrives with clear sleeve over RED wire (ie. hot) to avoid short with black (ie. gnd) that could lead to fire.After solder, I moved the sleeve to yellow before assembling vantrue.would recommend.

With a little knowhow, you can fix your Vantrue N2 dash cam

When the Vantrue N2 dash cam starts to loose battery capacity, the unit will not work. It seems to use the battery to write/close out the video files after the car is off and electricity from the usb cable is cut. Check youtube for some good tutorials on changing the battery and how to solder on a PCB (if needed)

Saved my dashcam

The battery is an awesome replacement for my old dashcam battery, did not need the yellow wire so I just tucked it to the side with some black tape. It holds enough of a charge that my camera can finally save a video after turning off my car. Would order again!
